ICPSR Scholarships Deadline Extended

NOTE: The deadline to submit materials for an ICPSR scholarship has been extended to April 15, 2014.

These scholarships for graduate students and pre-tenure scholars provide a fee waiver to one or both of our four-week sessions.

Check out our Financial Support page for more info on these scholarships and other non-ICPSR sources of funding.

ISR-Rackham Summer Training Awards

The U-M's Rackham Graduate School has provided the Institute for Social Research (ISR) with funds to encourage and support U-M graduate students in the social sciences to attend ISR summer programs, including the ICPSR Summer Program.

These competitive grants cover 2/3 of the cost to attend either or both four-week sessions of the ICPSR Summer Program, as long as the student's department agrees to cover the remaining 1/3 cost.

April 14, 2014 is the deadline for submitting all materials. Decisions should be announced by May 9, 2014.

For more information, please refer to the 2014 application form (PDF 108K).

Course addition

We've just added a 5-day statistical workshop to our 2014 Summer Program!

"Introduction to Spatial Regression Analysis" will be held in Boulder, CO from August 4-8. Taught by University of Colorado-Boulder professor Elisabeth Root, this workshop will introduce the spatial-analytic framework and explore related issues that arise when analyzing spatial data.

We'll post more info about this course to our 2014 Schedule in the coming days!
